Really It Was Hard!

Second Grading Period! This is the grading that we will encountering new lessons and new discoveries again. As time goes by, there are many things that is happening to our daily lives and the only possible that will happen is to succeed or to be failed. There are many trials that we are encountering specially if we cannot understand easily if what is our teacher is talking about. Do you have something learned? Do you have discovered something new?

For me, this is the true meaning of the continuation of the start. This second grading, I've learned how important a HTML file is. How to do, how to improve. It is a very useful one to improve your designs. Even though sometimes it’s hard to do, our teacher is always here beside us to teach us the wrongs that we are doing. This was a very great experience. This grading lesson is a new discovery to me and this will add my knowledge about computers. When I first met HTML files , I was shuck! I ask myself. Huh? What are this? It was a very hard thing but we are very thankful that our knowledge was add a something new.

          Moving on, I will continue discover new things and  the lessons that I’ve learned, I will apply this to my daily lives if possible and share this to others. We should always remember that in every challenge that we are facing, it is only at start but as time pass by, it will not. It was only the continuation of the start!

“Upholding English Proficiency for Communicative Competence”

             English has been the second tongue of every Filipino. Despite of having a mother language and dialects, it's amazing how they managed to speak English fluently. English is our international language. It is very useful for our daily lives. Wherever you go, wherever the wind will take you, you will hear and hear again and again the English language especially to other countries.

            Nowadays, almost all of us even the children at a young age; they want to go to another country so their parent teaches them how to speak in English. If you know how to speak in English it is good! Not all of us were born to be good in English. Like me, I’m not good in English but even though, I was trying to be good because it is a part of my daily live as a student. If you are not fluent this time, by just reading and reading English books will help you to make good in English. By using English language in your everyday live o by discovering a new word everyday, it will help you to improve your English proficiency. English is a very important tool to enter a good job. An appropriate job that will give you a high salary. It is important that we know how to speak in English.

            So, if you are not using English proficiency. Let’s spread to everyone that using English is a very important tool. Let’s use ENGLISH! Be proud of what you are saying,

“Scientricity: Energizing Science Clubbers For Sustainable Energy”

            Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe  while Electricity is the set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and flow of electric charge. This two words serves as the most important tool and to connect the Science month celebration.

            Nowadays, humans are abusing the environment. This environment are now already getting invisible. They are now destroyed by humans. Conserving electricity is one of the solutions to make our country in the top. We are over using the electricity in our country. Illegal cutting of trees in the mountains are one of the reasons so we are suffering from human activities. We are suffering from global warming. God gave us everything but on that everything, there are limitations. It is not only that we used that everything. We should also think for the future. What will happen to the future if we will use all our natural resources now? Where they will get? How they can survive? Let’s now limit the used of our natural resources. Let’s think what will be the future of the world. Let’s help one another. Let’s conserve these things. Let’s unite each other. Let’s conserved ENERGY!

            So please! Us humans, we should no the limitation of all the things that God was given us. Let’s preserve all the things that he’d given to us.  Let’s conserve energy!

“My Teacher, My Hero”

Heroes are not like real superheroes, people who could fly, who could hold a car using their forefinger, not even fighting villains for saving the world. Then… what is a hero? When talking about heroes, they’re the one who strengthen you, the one who are at your side whenever you’re down because they are there to lift you up. There are many meanings of a hero. But what is really the essence of having a hero? Who are our heroes?

            There are many professions in our country nowadays that we are idolizing it such as a doctor, nurse, policemen, accountant and many more. But wait! I’ve forgotten something. It was a TEACHER! For me, teacher is the best profession ever.

            Teachers have the greatest responsibility when it terms to the school. if there is no teachers, doctors, engineers, etc are also not present. Because of teachers, they are moulding us to become a successful one in the future. Inside the campus, teachers are not only teaching their profession as a teacher but also they can be also a friend/ best friend to the students. They are not only focusing on how to make their students good on their subject but also they are moulding the students to become a good citizen of the country. They are our second MOTHER, if we’ve done something wrong, they are always their for us to give advices. They are always their beside us. In times of happiness, challenges and failures, they are always there to hear our taught. Teachers have also their own responsibilities us a parent. Sometimes, they are late in going home because they are doing paper works or there are activities of the school or sometimes because of the problems of their students. Foremost, teachers have more than time for us, the students than their family. They have only small salary. This salary serves as their money to support their family’s expenses. It is not enough to fill up the expenses of their family in a day. Teachers are very good. Teachers are so good. And teachers are the best!

            So, let our teacher be our hero. Let’s give them a hug. Let’s give them  a hundred percent love. A hundred percent trust. We SALUTE YOU TEACHERS! We LOVE YOU! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

Behind My Dreams!

          Batman! Superman! Darna! Wonderwoman! These are the heroes of the children nowadays. These are the favourites of the children. These heroes are the only one that they knew. Children’s have different heroes. They only know these heroes because of the movies. But what’s really the essence of a hero? Who are our real heroes?

          Behind these mascots are the children’s heroes because of what they had watched, what they had known and what other does tell. In my own sight, I think the best hero for me is my grandmother. Why? We cannot deny the fact that she is not my real mother because she’s my grandmother but even though, she acts like my mother. Since I was here in this world, she is the first one that carry me. Since my mother is not in my side, my grandmother is the one who is always at my side. In times of happiness and especially in times of challenges. Since she was my mother at all, she send me in the school to learned something new and to learned how to fight challenges. Everyday, when I go out at the house, my mother or usually I call her as “mommy”, she also go out for us to earned money for mu studies and to fill up our daily needs. Sometimes, she go home late because of her job. She is a unit manager of the AVON company and because of that, there are many things that she would do before she can go home. I appreciated every single word that comes to her mouth because I know that she is only telling to us the right one and to make bad into good.

          So, I am very thankful that she was my mother even though is not really. I thank her so much for the time that she is always giving to me. The efforts to make me okay and to filled up my needs. Thank you so much. I LOVE YOU!

“Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-Pilipino”

Every year, we are always celebrating the Buwan ng Wika and in connection to this, this year’s theme: “Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng Pagka-pilipino”. When we heard this theme, there are many branches of taught that comes to our mind. But what really is the message of that theme? What really the importance of our national language, “ FILIPINO”?

God gave us a unique dialect for everyone in this world, but that uniqueness also have a general dialect. Us Filipino, we have many dialects like Ilokano, Kapangpangan and many more. But there’s something one that we are all using it, this is our national language, “FILIPINO”. Since we were a child, our teacher’s and parent’s teaches us to learn and to use Filipino language. Wherever we go, even to another country, when we use Filipino, they will easily identify that we are a Pilipino because of our language. Using our language is a great help to communicate other people who have different language fro the Philippines. Also, by using our language is a great help in order to understand each other, to be easily communicate and first and foremost, to have unity, peace and order in our country.

So for us Filipino’s, we should use now our national language, today, tomorrow and forever. Make our country as one of the Best Country in the world. Let’s help one another to spread that we, The Pilipino’s should use Filipino!

“ The Continuation of the Start”

First Grading Period! This is the first grading that we will encountering new lessons and new discoveries. As time goes by, there are many things that is happening to our daily lives and the only possible that will happen is to succeed or to be failed. There are many trials that we are encountering specially if we cannot understand easily if what is our teacher is talking about. Do you hve something learned? Do you have discover something new?

            For me, there are many things that I’ve learned during our first grading period specially to our ICT IV.  It is not easily to learned about new in computers and I learned  and knew the persons behind the success of the internet and when it is discovered. There are many persons contributed to the success of the internet specially to the pioneers of this. I also learned how to create a blog and it was my first time to knew about it. I learned on how to create a blogger account and when at my first to open this kind of application, I was ignorant because I don’t know what will I do but because of the help of mu subject ICT IV,  I learned how to used it and how important it is. Blogger is important to us because this is one way to improve our English  language and this can help us about our thoughts to something or our deep feelings. But while I continuous using this, I encounter some circumstances or problems about it specially in making accounts. I’d made many times my account in blogger it’s because in every time that  I opened my account, it cannot be because of my wrong password. Then, I asked some help to my teacher about this. But still, I cannot open it.  Then one day, we went to the e-lib to search something but definitely yes, instead I will search, I made my new account in blogger and now I’m using it because the help of my classmate and at the same time my friend.

            Moving on, I will continue discover new things and  the lessons that I’ve learned, I will apply this to my daily lives if possible and share this to others. We should always remember that in every challenges that we are facing, it is only at start but as time pass by, it will not. It was only the continuation of the start!

“ President Aquino delivered his 3rd State of the Nation Address”

Filipino one tradition is that SONA or known as the “State Of the Nation Address”. Last July 23, 2012, Republic of the Philippine’s President Benigno Simeon Cojuanco  Aquino  III delivered his 3^rd SONA  at the Batasang Pambansa and it tooks approximately one and one half hour and according to some opposition lawmakers, it was a bit too long.

            President Aquino is more than three years in service  but the question, what did he done to the nation to make our country rise up? What are the programs that he done?

            During his SONA, we have our classes yet but even though, as I read in the internet, articles and newspaper, some of the  programs that he’d done is the K-12 , the government expand the health services of the Filipino’s specially to the leukemia and cancer patients, PhilHeath membership rose to 85% and many more and  Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Teddy Casiño said President simply delivered feel-good anecdotes and chose statistics that would make the administration look like it is doing a good job. He said administration's so-called gains failed to produce an impact for a majority of Filipinos. Almost all of the people in the Philippines heard or watch at the television to know what was P-noy’s accomplishments. There are many feedbacks and negative comments about the way he hold or the way he handle the Philippines but even though, he remains strong and make the people who are making his name dirty mades them a inspiration. For me, P-noy was a good president even he has only 3  years yet in service because there are many programs that was implemented and this programs and projects helps us in our living and it is not only his self that he was thinking but the good things that will happen to the Filipino to be improved.

            As the day will go on, I believe that President Aquino will lift us at top but we should only give our trust to him and he will make  it. Just relax and observe  how will P-noy works. We should always put to our minds that being a President of the Philippines was a very big task and a very hard to control so, we should only wit for the time that we will rise and P-noy will make it!

           

“Nutrition Month Celebration”

            July! What do you think what we are celebrating this month of July? July is the month of nutrition with the theme: “ Pagkain ng Gulay Ugaliin, Araw-araw Itong Ihain”.

             The theme of this is all about vegetables. But the question, are we eating vegetables? Almost all of us nowadays specially to the youth and to the rich families are not eating vegetables instead they are more eating meaty foods. I think the reason of the rich families who are not eating vegetables is because it’s cheap. They like more to go to a class restaurant like Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Shakey’s, etc. and also they think that eating in a restaurant is very good to our health specially to the food that we are eating and they also tell that they have money to buy anything. They do not know that vegetables are very good to our health because it contains  vitamins, proteins and minerals that we need to have a healthy body. Vitamins are chemicals that help our body use carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. We need certain vitamins to build blood cells and body chemicals such as hormones and we can only get this all by eating vegetables like squash, its makes our sense of sight be improved, bitter gourd, to clean our blood, papaya, it makes our skin whiten and many more. Also by eating vegetables, we can easily protect ourselves from different diseases like fever, cough, colds and many more and if we can protect ourselves from diseases, we can save money for our future instead if we are not eating vegetables, we can easily get diseases and that will be the reason why we need to buy medicines. But I’m not telling that we will always eat vegetables in our everyday meal instead we should put vegetables to have proper diet.

            So for me, eating vegetables is a very important matter or a thing that we should include to our daily living. We should keep on eating vegetables and continue to reach our goals by having good health. EATWELL! LIVELONG!  EAT VEGETABLES!

LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT

Dear President Aquino,

            Hello sir!

            I’m a student of Ilocos Sur National High School and at the same time a student leader. I know that being a president of the Philippines is one of the biggest tasks that a Filipino can have. I’ll will not be able to know how’s the feeling of being a president is; what I just know is it’s really a hard task.

            Since you were elected as the Republic of the Philippines President, you’ve told us about a lot of projects like the “No Wang-Wang Policy” and the K-12 as you stated in your SONA ( State Of the Nation Address). This two projects for me are the best projects that will be implemented for the Youths. It is indeed that these projects will help our fellowmen to improve our status of living. Even though there are many feed backs coming from the people, you’ve still decided to implement these projects without any hesitation. You’ve still implemented these even if you think that there are more important projects. Now, K-12 is being implemented in our school and I saw a big improvement of the students from our old curriculum. I said this because I saw that students are now more responsible enough in their studies. I saw that there are no problems with their studies. We are very thankful sir that you have the quality of being a good President and there’s no doubt that you’ve been as the president.

            Even though it’s just your 2^nd year in service, I saw! We saw that you are good! And I know that 6 years of service is too short, but I believe in you that you will be one of the best! Or best of the best! Thank you sir for being a good model to our youth. You are our inspiration in studying. We are hoping sir that in the Philippines, there will be more changes. I hope that you will continue to implement projects.
